1. Who we are

Buymyacres.com is operated by an independently owned land-acquisition company ("we", "us"). We buy vacant land, acreage, farm, and inherited property for our own account. We are not a real estate brokerage and we do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us: name, phone number, email, property address/APN/county, property type, reason for selling, and any message you send through our offer form, by email, or by phone/SMS.
• Information we obtain from public records: county property appraiser and recorder data (ownership, sale history, tax status), zoning and maps, and listing data — the same public records any land buyer would research.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for site security and to prevent spam/abuse.
• Communications records: notes of calls, texts, emails, and offers we exchange with you about the possible sale of your property.

3. How we use it

• To research your parcel and prepare a cash offer;
• To contact you about that offer and the possible purchase of your property — by phone, call, text, or email, through the contacts you provided;
• To verify title, ownership, payoffs (taxes, liens), and to close through a licensed title company if we agree on a deal;
• To improve our site and prevent fraud;
• If we do purchase your property, as required to complete the closing and satisfy legal/tax obligations.

4. Your consent choices (calls & texts)

By submitting our form you consent to contact about your property by phone/call/text — including automated technology and pre-recorded messages — and by email, as described in the form's consent notice. Consent is not a condition of any purchase; you are never required to accept marketing contact to receive an offer. You may withdraw consent or stop communications at any time:

• Reply STOP to any text and we will stop texting that number;
• Reply NO CALL by text or tell the caller, or email/call us, and that number enters our internal do-not-call list;
• We honor the National Do Not Call Registry and applicable state do-not-call registries, and we scrub before solicitation outreach;
• Existing-business-relationship communications about a pending or completed transaction may continue as permitted by law while the matter is open.

5. Sharing

We share your property information only with people actually involved in a possible purchase: underwriters on our team, the title company/closing agent, county offices and public-record services used to verify the parcel, and — if we assign our purchase contract with your written consent where required — the assignee under the contract's own terms. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers, and we do not share it with unrelated marketers.

6. SMS/text specifics

• Message frequency varies with the status of your parcel; message and data rates may apply per your carrier plan;
• Texts are sent from our own business number(s) — never purchased spam lists;
• Opt-out instructions (STOP / help keywords) are honored promptly and logged;
• Where a state requires advance registration or adds restrictions to consumer text outreach, we honor those in that state (for example, states that regulate text-message solicitation under their no-call laws).

7. Data retention & security

Records are retained for as long as needed for the possible or completed land purchase and applicable records laws (commonly several years for transaction documents), then securely deleted or anonymized. Access is limited to team members and systems that need it; the database is access-controlled and not publicly exposed.

8. Your rights

Depending on your state, you may request (a) the personal information we hold about you, (b) correction, (c) deletion where no transaction or legal hold applies, and (d) confirmation that we do not sell personal information. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable period and honor verified rights requests.

9. Children & external links

Not directed to children under 18. Our site may link to public county records, listing sites, and mapping providers whose own policies apply when you visit them.
